John W. Maniscalco

John's practice focuses primarily on representing insurers in large loss subrogation matters arising from major catastrophic events including fires, electrical generator failures, hurricanes, industrial explosions, and terrorist actions as well as their insureds in various commercial disputes, and product liability actions. 

 

John also represents insurers in first party insurance coverage matters by assisting clients with common coverage and adjustment issues such as identifying damage, necessary repairs, and appraisal, while representing their interests in subsequent coverage litigation.

 

John has been named a Texas Rising Star by Texas SuperLawyers six years in a row and a Top 40 Under 40 Lawyer in the State of Texas by the National Trial Lawyers Association. John has also provided countless hours of pro bono legal work for his community in matters involving bankruptcy, litigation, fraud, insurance disputes, and real property.

In law school, John served on the Executive Board for the Texas Tech Law Review and actively participated as a Board of Barristers Member where he was awarded Moot Court Top Oralist. John’s commitments in education were awarded with such honors as the CALI Award for highest grade in Legal Writing & Research and the American Jurisprudence Award.
